Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! I hope you guys are all healthy, happy and may Allah bless you and your loved ones.

So, the book that I will be reviewing today is titled ‘The End of The World; Signs of The Hour Major and Minor’ by Dr. Muhammad al-‘Areefi. It’s an Islamic book and I actually borrowed it from my mum.

Sooooo, let's start shall we? I'll take out some of the important things from this book so hopefully we'll take it as something useful in dunya and akhirah in shaa Allah.

THE HOUR; is the time when the Resurrection will begin. It is called the Hour because it will come suddenly upon the people; in a brief moment at the sound of a sing shout/blowing [of the horn] they all will die.

MINOR SIGNS OF THE HOUR;

1. The sending of our Prophet Muhammad SAW
2. The death of our Prophet Muhammad SAW
3. The splitting of the moon
4. Prevalence of turmoil (Fitnah) of all kinds
5. Claims of Prophethood by charlatans and liars
6. A great deal of killing
7. Following the ways of nations who came before
8. The slave woman giving birth to her mistress
9. Appearance of women who are clothed yet naked
10. Barefoot, naked shepherds competing in the construction of lofty buildings
11. Greeting only those whom one knows
12. Widespread stinginess and miserliness
13. Being a bad neighbour
14. Not caring about the source of wealth and whether it is Halal or Haram
15.Honest people being regarded as treacherous and treacherous people being trusted
16. Death of prominent and noble people and the prevalence of ignoble people
17. People will pay their Zakaah reluctantly and Zakaah will be regarded as a penalty
18. Obedience to wives and disobedience to mothers
19. Knowledge will be sought for a reason other than or the sake of Allah
20. Bringing friends close and keeping fathers away
21. Raising voices in the mosque
22. The leader of the people will be the vilest of them
23. Adultery, silk, alcohol and musical instruments will be regarded as permissible
24. Adornment of mosques and competition therein
25. Adornment of houses
26. Earning money by means of speaking and boasting about ones eloquence
27. Spread of books other than the Qur'an
28. Sudden death
29. Time passing more quickly
30. The foolish will speak
31. Taking the mosques as thoroughfares
32. Markets becoming close together
33. People no wanting to lead the prayer
34. A lot of earthquakes
35. There'll be a lot of women and few men
36. Taking money from reading Qur'an
37. Rain against which houses of brick cannot offer any protection
38. The new moon looking bigger than usual
39. Jerusalem will flourish Madeenah will be in ruins, devoid of inhabitants and visitors
40. The Qur'an will dissapear from the Mus-hafs and from people's hearts
41. Hajj to the sacred House of Allah will be abandoned
42. Destructions of the Ka'abah at the hands of a man from Abyssinia
43. The buildings of Makkah becoming high
44. The appearance of the Mahdi

MAJOR SIGNS OF THE HOUR;

1. The Dajjal (False Messiah)
2. The Descent of 'Eesa AS
3. The Emergence of Ya'jooj and Ma'jooj
4. Three Landslides
5. The Smoke
6. The Beast
7. The rising of the Sun from its place of setting
8. Fire which will drive the people to their place of gathering

SubhanAllah.. Just by writing these out of the books already makes me feel scared. May Allah lead us to the right path and lead us into Jannah, Aamiin Ya Rabbal Alamin..

Just so you know, I just take out some important informations from the book, there are a lot more in it, you guys should buy and read it as well.

So, I guess that’s it for now, may we all will be safe from all those dangerous things that will come, and may Allah safe us from the hellfire Aamiin..
