بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! I hope you are all in
the best of health and may Allah SWT shower you with His blessings Aamiin.
First of all I would like to say sorry because this entry may be a little
offensive especially to the teenagers and the muslimah.
ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
I know that this one is quite lame but whatever. I can
see their point though, that they’re trying to feel what other people feel and
they’re putting themselves in those ALS patients’ shoes. Some of you that might
not know what ALS exactly is, well it is a rare disease and it is also known as
Lou Gehrig’s disease and ALS stands for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It is a
nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function and
unfortunately there’s no cure, yet.
As for the Ice Bucket Challenge, it is an activity
involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone’s head to promote awareness
of the ALS disease. It went completely viral on the media social and all and to
be honest I got kind of annoyed looking at people doing this thingy thinking about
their exact purpose. Did they do that because they want to show ‘real awareness?’
Did they do that for fun? Did they do that for fame because well they’ll upload
it and everyone will see ‘em and blabla.
My point is, why waste water to show your awareness to
other people with a disease? Why not just donate and show ‘real awareness’ by
maybe visiting them or learning more about the disease and whatever else that
makes a complete sense. I’m not saying it’s wrong to do this but before doing something,
you should know the purpose of doing that. Some might say that this thingy give
those ALS patients hope and support for them to stay strong and have courage. Well
that’s true, I too, agree with that but it’s not anymore when you know you’re doing
it for fun and you’re just making a fool out of yourselves other than doing it
by heart and by real passion.
In my opinion, logically though, if those ALS patients
see people who are making a fool out of themselves while doing this challenge, I
suppose they’ll surely get offended and it might hurts their feelings as well. What I’m
saying is, you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing without knowing the
real purpose of that something. Think for yourselves the pros and the cons of
that something. Don't get too attached to the media social, don't make yourself feel conquered by it. Instead, try to live the real life.
DON'T JUDGE CHALLENGE
Next up, one of today’s most famous challenge, I present
the extremely ridiculous terrible DON’T JUDGE CHALLENGE. I just can’t stop
thinking about the purpose of this challenge and where the hell is that ‘DON’T
JUDGE’ phrase should we use because well, just look at them. Not to be rude,
but seriously it doesn’t make any sense! For those who might not know what this
challenge is, go search it on YouTube. Oh wait, no! Don’t! You’ll be wasting
your life watching them! Phewww plus the reason I don’t post any photos here is
I don’t want anyone to feel offended by my actions or my spicy words lelz
#sorrynotsorry
My number one point, you say ‘DON’T JUDGE’ but then you get
an ugly makeover and somehow you then become so gorgeous and beautiful and
blablabla. You get an ugly makeover by putting moles, freckles, pimples and
whatever stuffs that make you ugly but then again, wouldn’t that make people
hurt? Those who are not-that-beautiful like me maybe, what do you think they’ll
feel? How’s that ‘DON’T JUDGE’ huh? I don’t know if I’m missing something and
if so, someone please explain it to me because in my opinion this challenge
makes no sense AT ALL.
Furthermore, how disappointed and sad I am watching not
just Malaysians, Malays, teenagers but girls with their hijab on doing this
challenge. I mean, guys, GIRLS WITH THEIR HIJAB ON! MANA LETAKNYA MALU, MARUAH
DIRI & KELUARGA?! (PS I’m sorry over pula marahnya haha) Nauzubillahiminzalik..
With your wink, lips bite, your charming smile, your
seductive ways, trying to show people how pretty you are. For God’s sake, don’t
you ever think about yourselves? Your dignity, your crown and your status as a
muslimah? It just shows how ‘cheap’ you all are. Allah SWT and Rasulullah SAW
asked us, Muslimah to be modest and to take care of ourselves.
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their
gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and
ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw
their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their
husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’
sons, their brothers, or their brothers’ sons or their sisters’ sons, or their
women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of
physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and
that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their
hidden ornaments. And O you Believers turn you all together towards Allah, that
you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).
So sisters..
Wake up, wake up, and wake up! Imagine dear sisters,
if Rasulullah SAW is still here with us, what will he react seeing us do stuffs
like this? Wouldn’t it make him feel sad and disappointed? What would Saidatina
Aisyah, Saidatina Khadija react? Rasulullah SAW cried for us all night long
thinking about us but here we are too busy living in this world full of tricks
and illusions.
Lastly, I would like to apologize once again if any of my words hurt your feelings but hey someone has to stand up, right? Only God knows whatever challenges will come next whether it's good or not and may we all be protected by Allah SWT from the these kind of worldly tricks Aamiin Aamiin Ya Rabbal Alamin..
Thank you for reading and Assalamualaikum :)
